3D Nintendo DS... Details At E3 This June
At E3 this June Nintendo will announce their latest foray into the 3D gaming world with what is
to be called the Nintendo 3DS. If that was not enough, the 3DS will not require the need for
special 3D glasses. This is the first ever game console that will be available that lets the player
enjoy games in 3D without glasses. The console will be released at some point during April
2010 and March 2011, reports Nintendo.
The 3DS will be fully compatible with Nintendo DS and
DSi games. Recently, Nintendo released a game in
Japan that uses special head control tracking
technology... but it is unclear if the 3DS will be using
this form of tech to make the 3D a reality on the 3DS.
While this device is still highly speculative in how it will work, Nintendo promises further
details to be announced at this June's E3 convention. It will be interesting to see
exactly how this new 3D handheld console will reproduce 3D images to the naked eye.
